How can I wear and style the Muse foulard?

Muse is a 60 × 60 cm square, which makes it very easy to style. You can tie it at the neck, wear it as a bandana, or style it in your hair. To make this even simpler, we have prepared a short video.

What makes Muse feel so unexpectedly light?

We asked ourselves the same question when we first handled it. Muse is made from 100% cashmere, but woven in an open, gauzy structure that dramatically reduces weight while preserving the natural softness of the fibre. The result is a piece that weighs just 19 grams. That’s much less than a candy floss! It feels unlike what most people associate with cashmere.

What is a foulard?

A foulard is a small square scarf, traditionally made from silk and worn as a light styling accessory at the neck or in the hair. It is defined by its square shape and refined finish, rather than by warmth or volume.

This sets it apart from neck scarves and neckerchiefs, which are typically longer or more structured and designed to wrap around the neck for added warmth.

Muse is our reinterpretation of the classic foulard. We keep the familiar 60 × 60 cm square format, but replace silk with gauzy cashmere, creating a piece that feels unexpectedly light while offering greater softness and a more natural feel than a silk foulard.

Is Muse suitable for frequent wear?

Muse is designed to be worn often, as long as it is treated with the same care you would give any fine cashmere. The hand-finished edge protects the fabric from fraying and helps it keep its shape over time. When you’re not wearing it, store it in the silk pouch we include, which makes it easy to carry in your bag and keeps it protected.

How should I care for a cashmere foulard?

As with all cashmere, keep it away from velcro, zips, and other abrasive surfaces. Muse can be washed following standard cashmere care guidelines. You can read our full care guide here.
